Searching for a specific item

Searching on sella

We have worked hard to make our search work for you. Searching on sella means simply typing a keyword into the search box at the top of the page and hitting the search button.

The results that come back will be broad, with matches from all our categories. You can filter and refine the results page by selecting results from a particular category, or a specific region of New Zealand.

You can also filter by price, closing soon, recently added and many more.

Tricks you can try to improve your searching

1. To search for an exact match you can use " " around the keywords e.g.: "Apple iPod"

2. To search for extra items you can use + e.g.: Apple +iPod

Saving a search

If you often search for the same thing you can choose to save this search to your account and receive daily emails with any new listings that have been added that match your search criteria.

When you do a search you will see where it says "Subscribe to this search".  Simply click this to receive emails of new listings.
