Issues with purchasers

There may be any number of reasons why you might have an issue with a buyer.

Buyer not responding to my email or phone calls

We recommend you allow up to a week for a buyer to respond to any communication you have with them. During this time, drop them a couple of friendly emails or give them a call on the phone.

You can keep track of all your sold items in the sold section of My Sella.

A key point here is to check your spam folder settings (junk folder) in your email. Their email may accidentally be arriving in here.

By bidding on an item for sale on sella.co.nz, and having a winning bid, a buyer is obligated to complete the transaction.

We recommend you give the buyer the opportunity to remedy any issues before you place appropriate feedback.

As a final option, if this can not be resolved easily, we recommend you file a dispute with the Disputes Tribunal for a minimal cost, depending on your claim amount.
