Quick Pay

About Quick Pay

Quick Pay allows you to accept credit card payments for sella.co.nz sales.

Quick Pay is sella's official Credit Card Payment solution and has been developed in conjunction with Direct Payment Solutions, one of New Zealand's largest providers of robust payment products.

Quick Pay has been designed to get money for items you sell, back to you quicker. Every user of Quick Pay will have their own DPS account and any money paid will be deposited into your bank account directly. Currently using the Quick Pay service is free, and sella will not take any commission on sales paid for using Quick Pay.

How it Works

Once you are registered for Quick Pay you can offer Quick Pay as a payment option on your auctions

Buyers pay by credit card using your personal DPS Merchant Account

We email you, with delivery details, once payment is successful and you can ship the goods straight away.

You receive payment, less any standard credit card feeds you may incur, into your NZ bank account.

How to Register

Only sella Stores may register for Quick Pay. There is some initial work involved with setting up Quick Pay, but the long term benefit is that money is received much quicker than through other online trading sites.

To qualify, you need:

  • An existing merchant account setup for DPS
  • To be a registered New Zealand Company
  • Current Address Verified status on sella
  • 10 positive Feedbacks - sella reserves the right to review this figure for each Quick Pay Request

Note: sella reserves the final right to refuse any store Quick Pay status

There are 2 steps you need to go through to set up Quick Pay for your store on sella. These are :

1. Setup your DPS Merchant Account (with one of the NZ banks)

Setup Merchant Facility for DPS
If you do not have an existing account with DPS you must setup an e-commerce merchant facility for DPS. This can be setup with any one of the major New Zealand banks. See below for contact details for each bank:

Apply to DPS
https://www.paymentexpress.com/pxmi/apply

Please be sure to add " - Sella" to your trading name on this application; for example:
"ABC Trading Ltd" would be written as "ABC Trading Ltd - Sella". Please select "PXPay" as the product required.

Fill out and return the DPS Direct Debit Application below:
https://www.paymentexpress.com/downloads/DPSDirectDebitApplication.pdf

Please send the physical copy as DPS cannot accept a faxed or emailed version. Once DPS have received the merchant number, online application and direct debit form, they will activate the Sella payment system for the client and provide the live details to Sella and the client.

If unsure about any step in the process please call DPS on 0800 PAYMENT

2. Notify sella about your DPS Merchant Account

It is a legal requirement that to have a DPS Merchant Account you must provide certain information to prospective sellers. This information is displayed in the "Store Policies" section of your store. Once you have registered for DPS and setup your Merchant Facility please complete this store information form that will be automatically forwarded to sella.
