The Big Hug has a 2009 Fortwo SmartCar to auction off! The car was road new as of November 2009, and has been used sparingly by Endometriosis New Zealand only for charity work. At the completion of this auction we estimate it will have done no more than 2200 kms.

The Smart Fortwo cuts a fine figure wherever it goes, even the smallest of parking space is suddenly big enough. The Smart has many safety features, exceptionally low fuel consumption and reduced emissions. It offers impressive performance, spacious interior for passenger and driver. 1. The winning bidder for this item is legally obliged to complete this transaction.

2. The 2009 SmartCar up for auction is based in Auckland. Endometriosis New Zealand will not be responsible for transportation costs to deliver the car to the successful buyer if they are out of Auckland.

3. Endometriosis New Zealand will be responsible for the removal of The Big Hug decal (signage) attached to the 2009 SmartCar up for auction.

4. The 2009 SmartCar up for auction has been used by Endometriosis New Zealand for the basis of promotion of The Big Hug auction and Endometriosis New Zealand related business, and shall continue to be used as such up until its transfer of ownership.

5. Endometriosis New Zealand, SmartCar or any other parties associated with The Big Hug are not responsible for any ongoing costs pertaining to the 2009 SmartCar up for auction. Ongoing costs including (without limitation) insurance, registration, warrant of fitness, fuel, repairs etc are the responsibility of the successful bidder (unless specified in the auction item) once transfer of ownership has been completed.

6. As a successful bidder Endometriosis New Zealand may ask you to participate in photographs for promotional and media purposes. Provision of such details and/or photographs by you is deemed consent for Endometriosis New Zealand to use such details and/or photographs for promotional and media purposes without further reference or payment.

7. Neither Endometriosis New Zealand nor any other person or party associated with The Big Hug charity auction shall be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever suffered or personal injury suffered or sustained in connection with either participation in this auction and/or use of the 2009 SmartCar.

8. Ownership of the 2009 SmartCar will be final and absolute once the transfer of ownership paperwork is completed.

Penny Ashton is a comedienne and actor and has performed both Improv and her solo comedy shows from Adelaide to Edinburgh to Gore. She represented NZ at the Theatresports World Cup in Germany in 2006 and was victorious at the Edmonton Improvaganza in 2003. She has appeared on 7 Days, Breakfast and Radio NZ National as a social commentator and was also the originator of Austen Found and has enjoyed touring it extensively since. Stayci Taylor is a graduate of the John Bolton Theatre School in Melbourne and has trained with Phillipe Gaulier in London and Paris. She has travelled extensively throughout NZ and the world with improv and is a senior writer for Maori Programming in NZ. She is also one of the originators of the TV Comedy Series Brown Brothers.

Nigel Burrows has performed both improv nationally and internationally for over 20 years. As a core cast member of Auckland Theatresports from 1988, Nigel also represented Auckland on two occasions for the televised Auckland and Wellington National Champs and Performed at The Edmonton Fringe- International Theatresports Champs 1991.

Clare Kelso has been a Producer, Creative Director, Actor and Mentor at ConArtists, the Home of THEATRESPORTS, for 22 years this September. Other accolades include literally thousands of public performances and winning New Zealand Playwright of the Year. Chris Neels is a third year student at Unitec's School of Performance and Screen Arts and was part of a team that won the school’s competition two years in a row (2004 - 2005). Although he is not actually a vampire, Chris did double for Robert Patinson as Edward Cullen's stunt double.
