About
Crafty Rose has been a dream of mine for quite a few years. I was originally going to call it "Robyn's Nest" but found that name was overpopulated on the internet. Since my Mum, Rosemary, passed away almost 4 years ago on the 9th July 2006 I decided I wanted to honour her memory in some way so decided to "borrow" the first part of her name and then put Crafty in front of it and so the name "Crafty Rose" came about. Mum's hands were always busy (especially with knitting needles). She tried teaching me to knit. I'll never be as good as her. I tried to teach her to cross stitch. She decided to stick with her knitting.
I think it is a perfect way to keep my Mum's memory alive as she wasn't just my Mum but my best friend too.
